your smile

This is a layout I did for Green Tangerines for their July kit of the month. I mostly scrap double page layouts, but every now and then I like to showcase a favorite photo and do a single page layout. I loved the patterned papers in this months kit. If you look closely, you can see that I stitched down the yellow ribbon and also down the right hand side over the top of the half circles. Sewing adds just a little extra touch to a page that gives it that homeade feel. I gave up quilting when I had kids . . . at least my sewing machine is still getting some good use!
