our easter weekend

On Saturday we went to a local egg hunt sponsored by our church and our local Chick-fil-a. It was a bit crazy to say the least. But the girls loved it of course. They both "hunted" in different age groups . . . I wouldn't really call it a hunt, since there was no hiding involved, just a mad dash. There were a lot more kids in Paige's age group, so she didn't score as many eggs as Faith . . . but Faith gladly shared.

We took a quick family picture after the egg hunt since it was scheduled to be pouring rain on Easter Sunday.

We had a relaxing morning of playing and opening Easter baskets before we headed off to church.

A friend took this picture inside at church since it was freezing and windy outside. I'm not sure why Faith couldn't put her arms down . . . for any of the pictures.

When we got home it still wasn't raining, so I grabbed my neighbor for an outside shot. Couldn't get Seth to smile since it was nearing his nap. I'm still trying to decide which family picture will make it into the "Easter layout." The inside shot or the outside one. Hhmmm . . . what do you think?
